New! Easy Gourd Patina Finish!

At Last! A patina that is easy to use, and now you can make your patina any color you want, just by adding a few drops of GourdMaster Ink Dye!

Traditional patinas are usually difficult to use and you never know what your results will look like. This patina lets you see your results right away, so it always comes out perfect!

Easy Gourd Patina Finish uses two steps to create a beautiful patina finish. Step one is the metal base. Just paint on two coats with a paint brush and use your heat tool or let air dry for a few minutes until it is just slightly damp --the base needs to be a little damp when you apply the Step Two Light Green Patina Solution.

Apply the Light Green Patina Solution with a brush, a sponge or even a piece of paper towel, depending on the look you want to create.

If you want to change the color of your patina, simply add a few drops of GourdMaster Ink Dye to the Light Green Patina Solution before applying it. If you add Classic Yellow, you will get a vibrant spring green color (shown on left side of gourd top pictured here). If you add some sky blue, you will get a beautiful cobalt blue color (shown on the gourd top piece opposite the green at the far right; the color in between the two is the Patina with no color added).
