 Pictured left, this beautiful piece of gourd art by Dana Richardson was created using an "aesthetically challenged" gourd with a large crack extending down from the rim (seen on the upper right side of the gourd).
The artist incorporated the crack into her overall design giving her piece an 'ancient pottery' effect.
