Apply with a soft cloth or piece of felt. Rub in a circular motion until absorbed. For an awesome one-step color and finish for your gourds, mix 1 teaspoon Gourd Wax with 5-8 drops GourdMaster™ Ink Dye and apply using a soft cloth or piece of felt. If the wax is not penetrating your gourd shell, your shell is probably very dense (apple gourds have notoriously hard, dense shells). Simply apply heat with a heat tool or hair dryer for a few seconds until wax soaks in.
