Micro Hand Drill with 6 Bits
|
SR215
|
Detailed Description
You will love this little tool! The Micro Hand Drill is a hand tool (not motorized) that works much like an awl, but is so much easier to use! Plus, the 6 different drill bit sizes range from small down to micro-mini enabling you to make holes so tiny you almost cannot see them with the naked eye!
Even the smallest drill bit attachement an a regular, motorized drill makes fairly large holes that are often intrusive in your design or embellishments. The Micro Drill makes holes so small you'll notice the artwork, not the method behind it! Perfect for sewing on small items such as beads!
One of the greatest benefits of the Micro Drill is that smaller holes in your gourd means less risk of cracking!
Up until now, really the only non-moterized tool you could carry for drilling holes in your gourd was an awl, and because of the size and design of the point, using an awl often means a lot of pressure is required to puch through your gourd, especially if it a particularly dense (hard) shell.
The need for pressure increases the risk for cracking your gourd, not to mention in can really hurt your hand after punching 10 or 20 holes!
Now you have a pocket-sized hand tool that goes anywhere and is so easy to use, you'll wonder how you ever worked without it! Just twist and press down firmly and your Micro Drill goes easily through the thickest shelled gourds!
Unlike an awl the Micro Drill bits are designed with groves, which means instead of needing force and pressure, all you need is a little twist! Basketry workers love this tool!
