These beautiful, oval-shaped dishes are cut from the side of a Canteen gourd (see below). The Welburn Canteen is famous for its thick shell, which means these dishes are excellent for carving and cut-outs!

Each gourd has been carefully cut and completely cleaned inside and out. They are also sanded on the bottom so they sit level. All the hard work has been done for you so you can get right to the fun of decorating your art piece!
